Last minute decision to sign up for this exchange so my letter is a bit briefer than usual!
As always, the prompts are here in case you want a bit of inspiration. If you have a different story you want to tell about the characters and pairings I've chosen, or a piece of art you feel inspired to create, then please feel free to ignore the prompts entirely.

( DNWs )The Goblin Emperor Series - Katherine Addison: Thara Celehar/Iäna Pel-ThenhiorI love the whole Goblin Emperor series, but there is something about the big city setting of the Witness for the Dead books that I absolutely adore. I love the grandeur of the Opera and the seediness of the docks area, the river, the tea houses, the stray cats and the graveyards.
Thara and Iana's tentative courtship is a huge part of my enjoyment of these books. Thara is so alone, and here is this warm presence who appreciates him and his very dry manner, and complete lack of care about himself!
I know they both feel more for each other than they can admit, so any story around this would be much appreciated. Or just plain old hurt/comfort with Thara managing to get a decent night's sleep at long last! Smut is very much welcome, as is any physical affection! Also Iäna is so self assured usually, it would be interesting to see his vulnerabilities - especially around his feelings for Thara - revealed, and how Thara reacts to that, seeing as he is only beginning to emerge from his extreme self-protective mode, and is still so deeply sad. Experiencing Thara coming to terms with the trauma and guilt of his past just gets me deep in my heart, and I want any little bit of happiness for him. I'm also a huge fan of repressed characters just giving way to their passions and fucking madly too, so there's that :)
Art: ANY kind of city scene would be amazing. Or them sitting together in a tea house, or at the opera. I love Amalo and see it as a character in itself!
Crossovers:
Quincey Morris (Dracula) & Frankenstein's Monster (Frankenstein)
Edward Hyde (Jekyll & Hyde)/Dorian Gray (Dorian Gray)
Jonathan Harker (Dracula) & Gabriel John Utterson (Jekyll & Hyde)I love/am fascinated by all these characters, so you really can't go far wrong here.
For
Quincey and the Monster, I'd love to know how they meet - the monster does travel the wilds of Russia and Tartary and does a bit of sea travel to the Black Sea, could Quincey come across him then, while Victor is still in pursuit? Do they find themselves travelling across Europe together, both pursued and in pursuit? How does Quincey react to the monster - fear or curiosity? Please feel free to write post-canon "Quincey lives!" fic by the way. Or "Quincey is resurrected by dodgy methods and comes back confused and can only relate to Frankenstein's monster!" fic.
Dorian Gray and Hyde - I feel like Dorian would be strongly drawn to Hyde's general wrongness. And Hyde who is used to repulsing people would be similarly attracted (also, it's Dorian Gray. He gives everyone a boner at a thousand paces). I'd love to see how Dorian might repress Hyde's instinct of violence when they meet, or twist it. Also they both indulge in unsaid "vices" in their respective novels, so I'd happily see which "vices" they indulge in with each other. Perhaps Dorian introduces Hyde to sensualism - the HORROR!
Jonathan Harker and Mr Utterson - two perplexed and earnest lawyers dealing with horrifying situations. I honestly would love anything at all about how they know each other (Support Group for Lawyers who have Drafted Legal Papers for Monsters?) or how they meet. Do Dracula and Hyde cross paths somehow, leading Utterson and Harker on their trail? Do they work together when one realises what the other is dealing with? Or are they just telling scary stories to each other over brandy and cigars at their Club?
For Art - I hope these prompts give ideas for art of these characters too. But just to see these characters in art together in the first place would be a treat enough!
